Miles Family Reunion 2015
Just looking at these pictures make me ache to go back to California, and my uncle's beautiful home in Discovery Bay. Every night I would sit out on the patio overlooking the bay, and watch the sunset. And it was absolutely breathtaking every time.
This is the progress of a perfect day in the life of Jenessa:
Wake up to a beautiful sunrise:
Spend time with family doing fun things:
Give my husband all the love he deserves:
And relax by a gas fire (because it doesn't make my clothes stink) on a warm summer night without mosquitoes:
It seriously doesn't get better than all of that. Man, I miss California!
Ironically, the next set of pictures was a bit more of a challenging day...
We drove to Batter Spencer to see the Golden Gate Bridge, but unfortunately, Karl the fog decided to make an appearance, and hide the bridge from our vantage point.
Luckily, this bird was nice enough to pose for me since the Golden Gate Bridge was nowhere to be seen:
Some of us got lost, so we decided to meet up at the Fort. It turned out to be good fortune considering we could actually see the bridge from there!
Here is my awesome family. I designed the shirts for the family reunion using my pen skills.
I love William's face in this picture so much, "what are you doing guys?"
I have one hott mama!
Here's my brother Kent, demonstrating how to take a family picture single-style:
Waiting for the trolley in downtown San Francisco:
It was worth riding the trolley just to see how excited William was about riding "Thomas" - this kid lives, eats, and breathes trains!
I love visiting the antique arcade on the Pier every time I visit San Francisco! It you haven't seen the opium den, then you need to go.
Lily had to miss her final dance recital, so she and I went out and did a photoshoot of her in her dance outfits.
Seriously though, can I go back? Please??

Young Living Essential Oils 101 Infographic Design
I have been slightly obsessed as of late with modern design, clothing and home decor. All I want to wear is black and white clothing with clean lines, and I dream of having a completely white house with natural unfinished wood accents. I blame Pinterest!! :) And maybe because I'm getting old(er).
When I told my boss that I wanted to do a more modern design for my latest infographic, she was gung-ho about it too. We have been trying to move away from the rustic design that all of the other essential oil companies have, and instead go for a cleaner and more modern look. We've been slowing going in that direction, not quite going all out until we were ready. But I think we are almost there, so this infographic was a good introduction!

This is what we call a "micrographic" - it is the graphic that we post on our social media pages as a teaser to lead to other web pages.

Dzierzon Family - Highland Trail
Germans are really awesome. I know that, because this family is German, and they are some of the funnest people I ever had the privilege to take pictures of! They were in town for just a few short days, and my old college neighbor Lisa (the mom) asked me if I would take some "authentic american family pictures." How cute is that?
Her little toddler was the funnest kid to play with. I brought Andrew along to assist me, and while I was off taking pictures of the parents, Andrew noticed that the little boy was moving a piece of grass around on the ground and making sounds. Andrew asked him what he was doing, and he replied, "vacuuming!!" According to his mom, kitchen gadgets are some of his favorite things to play with. When I asked her if I could bring anything, she replied with a laugh, "do you have a blender? That's his favorite!" Unfortunately, I forgot the blender at home. It's a good thing too, because Lisa said that I probably would have never got it back!! :)
Genießen & danke for reading!
Did I mention that Andrew liked them so much that he wanted to throw in one of his special "surprise" pictures? You know you're cool in my husband's book if you find a Hasselhoff surprise in your album. His reasoning: Germans really like David Hasselhoff. :)
